Blackford County Approves More Than $596,000 in Claims

Blackford County commissioners approved more than $596,000 in claims and payroll items Monday in a routine spending vote.
The approved totals were $285,444.58 in regular claims, $3,434.88 in miscellaneous claims, $120,191.59 in payroll claims, and $186,474.72 in regular payroll.
Commissioners also approved two smaller 911-related items listed in the transcript at $556.88 and $1,261.86. The exact spoken labels on those final two lines were partly garbled in the auto-transcript, but the approvals were preserved.
Taken together, the items approved in the meeting totaled $597,364.51.
