Axon Body Camera Talks Stall — Montpelier May Be Too Small

Chief Snider reported spending an hour on a video call with Axon, the combined body camera and Taser company, about a week and a half ago but has not heard back since. He believes Axon may not be interested in a department Montpelier's size — "we're small potatoes."

Hartford City and Blackford County both use Axon, and Snider noted the company is "historically the most expensive." Snider still needs to obtain quotes from other vendors.
