Arts Place Wins State Grant to Launch Blackford County's First Ceramics Program
Arts Place in Blackford County has received an "Every County Funded" grant from the Indiana Arts Commission to launch the county's first ceramics program.
The grant will fund the installation of a donated kiln, along with equipment, supplies, and fees for a local ceramics artist. The program will offer classes, workshops, open studio time, and kiln firing services for residents of all ages.
The "Every County Funded" program targets Indiana counties with little to no state-funded arts programming. Blackford County was one of only 10 counties statewide to receive this specific grant in fiscal year 2026.
