Blackford Schools Arts Center Roofing Complete, Blackford County Schools Board Told
From the Blackford County School Board meeting on October 13, 2026
Roofing and stonework at Blackford County Schools’ Performing Arts Center were complete, Meyer-Najem’s Kyle Jones reported October 13.
Jones said the building was dried in. Sidewalk work and overhead mechanical, electrical and plumbing work were progressing, while auditorium painting and interior framing had begun. Some interior framing was ahead of schedule, he said.
The paving plan called for the pavement’s binder layer this year and the surface layer in spring. The report described construction progress, not completion of the facility. No new construction payment or change order was approved as part of the report.
