From the Blackford County Schools Board meeting on October 27, 2026

Eligible returning administrators at Blackford County Schools will receive 2.3% raises under a 2026-27 salary package the school board unanimously approved October 27.

The percentage matches the increase going to the district's base teacher this year. Most of the leadership team was already working under new contracts following summer role changes.

Assistant Superintendent Lesley Moulton will receive five additional vacation days instead of a raise. The superintendent supported her request for leave in place of additional salary and said both he and Moulton work 260-day schedules.
