From the Hartford City Property Standards Board meeting on July 8, 2026

The Property Standards Board voted 2-0 to rescind the teardown order on 725 Greenbrier Drive after representative John Lacey, appearing on behalf of owner Jane Griselle of Keystone, Indiana, showed that substantial cleanup work had been completed.

The trailer, which had been vacant for at least seven to eight years, had its overgrowth and brush cleared, metal siding repaired, and the structure secured. Board member Dickey acknowledged the improvement: "It doesn't look abandoned now."

Griselle is considering either selling the property or removing the trailer entirely. The board tabled the case for 60 days to the September 9 meeting, when Griselle must provide an update on her plans for the property.
